Join us on February 8 for our closing concert of the season!

Special guest composer Chris DeLaurenti will treat us to an operatic sonic valentine. "Thrill: A Jazz Madrigal" features the voices of Seattle-area jazz and gospel singers Greta Matassa, Kelley Johnson, Josephine Howell, and Dawn Clement in a fresh handling of the classic torch song "You're My Thrill" as a haunting Elizabethan madrigal.

Also featured: "Io" by Lois Vierk for amplified trio of flute, electric guitar and marimba.

Performers Jasper Tollefson on classical and electric guitars and Miho Takekawa on marimba will perform solo works as well.
