"Classical Tuesdays does Panama Hotel jazz

What was life like for Japanese Americans living during World War II in what’s now Seattle’s International District? Find out through the music of the time, as the Panama Hotel Jazz Project comes to Tacoma’s free Classical Tuesdays series. A five-piece band will explore that time period in words and music. 7 p.m. Tuesday. Free. Slavonian Hall, 2306 N. 30th St., Tacoma. "
