November 10 7:00pm An Evening of Flamenco

Classical Tuesdays in Old Town is excited to feature Flamenco on Nov 10 in Slavonian Hall.
Marisela Fleites Lear is a popular dancer and teacher of Flamenco in the Tacoma area. Vicente Griego, “El Cartucho”, is from New Mexico, and has devoted his life to the study of cante Flamenco, the art of Flamenco singing. New Orleans-born guitarist Gerardo Alcalá, flamenco, one of the few foreigners to be respected as a full-fledged Flamenco artist by the gypsy Flamencos of Andalucia, will accompany them.
